Cornerstone recently kicked off a fall equestrian club to train volunteers for next year’s myriad of horse activities. These young ladies are learning everything from proper horse handling, care and management, to basic first aid, advanced grooming, equipment choices and care, breeds, coloring and anatomy as well as different ways to assist children with physical and emotional challenges so they can have their fullest experience with the horses here at Cornerstone. Each week they gather to study different aspects of horse ownership and care as well as giving presentations and competing in trivia contests and races against each other and the clock in testing how proficient they’ve become at certain essential tasks in the stables. We are having a great time with this 8-week session and look forward to another one in the Spring. Consider joining us for the Spring series if you aren’t part of this one! This is for ages 6 -18.

I'm a former Atheist who fell in love with Jesus two decades ago in South Beach, Miami. Wife to David and mom to five awesome kids, I love living beyond what is possible without God. I can't stand posers and my life is messy, but it's an awesome backdrop for God's glory to be seen. Because I require much grace, I'm committed to dispensing it in huge portions.
