SOLD – Leigh – Registered Section B Small Welsh Pony Mare
B. 2004, 12.2 hh, Black Bay, “Walnut Grove Ready Leigh” (registered name)
Leigh is a stunning small pony mare. Used in our school program and very lightly shown, she placed in the top five in Year-End Championships the past two years with MOHJO and MHSA in Short-Stirrup, Short Stirrup Equitation and Children’s Pony Hunter with a beginner on board. She is a kick-kick ride with 3 straight forward gaits, Leigh eats up the lines and has no problem making the step at a quiet canter. She has a nice scopey jump. Full bodied, she looks every bit a medium but measures a small and takes up a ton of leg. She is still green eligible. She clips, loads, ties and handles easily. Requires no show prep or lunging. Lead changes are there for the ask, but aren’t made. Sound. Rider in the video is 5’4. We are working hard to downsize our herd, hence the price. Approved home only.
Pulled out of a pasture the week before, clipped and taken to a show.
